I have submitted my Maxis broadband application form to Maxis finally. The CS told me that it will take 10 days for me to get the modem and activation. So, the conclusion is, the information given by the CS over the phone was all incorrect! I saw there was lots of filled broadband application form over the CS desk, seems like a lot of people apply it, wonder it is really that good…
The CS advice me to take the lowest 384kbps package as the area I m put in the form was in Ampang which is not under the high speed 3G coverage. According to her, upgrading from 384kbps to a higher speed is free while down grading from a higher speed to a lower speed is chargeable! OK, I agree to take the 384kbps and try it out first see how the bandwidth and performance!
I’m doing some search on Maxis Wireless broadband before I consider on signing up. 10 days? Why so long? Please give a review once you got your thing installed, ok?
